Change ActiveX-control settings in Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio Click on the Developer ribbon. Click on Insert and then select ActiveX Control of your choice. Alternatively, you can click File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > ActiveX Settings to change ActiveX-control settings in Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio. Click File > Options. Click Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > ActiveX Settings. Click the options you want, and then click OK.
